The decontamination vehicle, which has been developed together with Kärcher, houses a system for decontaminating people who have come into contact with warfare agents. This unit enables up to 54 people to shower, irrespective of weather conditions and under hygienic conditions, per hour. The version shown in the photograph consists of two containers: |

The 10-foot container contains the equipment compartment with the generator, the control system and the water storage tank. Housed in the 30-foot container is the shower area, the undressing and dressing rooms and a facility for detecting nuclear contamination. An airflow opposed to the direction in which the soldiers pass through the facility prevents warfare agents from being entrained. No special decontamination agents are used during showering, only liquid soap. |
